Bloom and Sprout,Yes , those should be good to graft. And don’t feed the troll.
Taiwan has zero fuzz on the underside of the leaf so it’s definitely Edulis.quote author=RS link=topic=54418.msg549879#msg549879 date=1742062863]Amazing offer, PM sent. Is Taiwan C. tetrameria?
I'm interested. Still available? PM sent. Haven't had good grafting take with WS, have read they are beginner-level easy. I've used mainly cleft grafts. Appreciate any advice!
I have always had good success with cleft grafts of any size.I always wrap the scions with Parafilm or Buddy tape and keep them shaded as much as possible
Do you remove the parafilm or buddy tape after a certain amount of time? Or let it fall off naturally? All are growing really well but a few are showing black spots under the parafilm (probably moisture got in). I'd hate to lose them to mold or girdling...or removing the parafilm too soon. Jonah, which white sapote are you selling? All of those you listed in the beginning of this post?
I usually just let it fall off naturally or remove it well after the graft union has healed and pushed a good amount of growth.
