Question about Mexican Pearl Guava

Just wondering if anyone else has this Mexican Pearl guava from Durling nursery.

I purchased this larger tree (15 gallon) at Home Depot, I plan to use it for rootstock to graft better varieties on it. But, just in case the fruit tastes good, then I will leave a branch for it to fruit next year.

Haven't heard about the Mexican Pearl Guava. Is it different than the Taiwanese Pearl guava?

I don' think the photo iD tag shows such a small fruit. I will need to look for the tag I removed. I know I took a photo of it.
