Last week we received the visit of my Friend Federico Sanchez from Homestead, FL.
He has the intention to do an extensive research on this yet botanically unclassified specie, so we went up there exploring Federico, My friend Lalo, My wife and myself, being with new people lead us to do something different visiting other areas than the usual ones and trying fruit from trees we never did before, and this going out of the comfort zone paid for us, we tried fruit from a couple of trees that was outstanding!
First we tried fruit from a tree on a creek by a small streem, this fruit upon opening has a very distinctive yellow color is deep kind of semi brilliant or fluorescent very distinctive from the other ones, the taste : Federico find slightly Guava simple flavor, something we agreed is the nice part of a sweet Guava without the strong after taste some Guavas can have, this Guava flavor is subtle and is fine when stage of the fruit is just 70-90 %
ripe, the predominant flavor is sweet delicious mango 60%mixed with Garcinia 30%, this one is very sweet with flavor of sugar syrup, upon thinking the ID, This will be called Luc's mango, I think is a good name according with  the characteristics of the fruit.
The other fruit was discovered by my wife,
I noticed she and Federico claiming it was so good, so I was offered one of them, the first bite blow my mind, the texture of the fruit, it just wasn't like a regular fruit of any kind but more like a texture of a human made milky (dairy) Ice cream, kind of milky or buttery, was really impressed with this,
Flavor however wasn't short of surprise, tasted like juicy sweet banana! My wife and Federico also detected this flavor, it also has orange notes, so my wife came up with the name of the iconic Dominican beverage made of orange juice and Condensated milk " Morir soņando " (Die dreaming) I really love that non alcoholic drink sold in the streets of Dominican Republic, going back to "Morir soņando" I was eating them carefully and realized the exact flavor they have is like ripen sweet fried plantains, yes just like that, then at the end they have small complex after taste that I just can't describe or classify. another curious thing i discovered with "Morir soņando" is that
When they go overripe they taste delicious, i pick several from the ground looking into very bad shape and they taste very nice like a yogurt! I think this is because of the milky (dairy) substance in them.
Very exited about finding this two excellent varieties to increase the study of this specie, thanks to Federico Sánchez for coming and helping us to discover them and to start the research along with the Florida university that he plans to do with this specie.
(SPECIAL NOTE :JUST REMEMBER SOMETHING IMPORTANT MORIR SOŅANDO ONLY HAS TWO SEEDS AND MANGO ONLY ONE OF THEM, ALL THE OTHER VARIATIONS HAVE USUALLY THREE OR FOUR SEEDS)

Due to the limited amount of seeds and with the purpose that more people could grow them themaximum amount per person would be 8 of them, i don't have many as they are single trees and fruit is way up there as trees are shaded by others.
Minimum purchase 3 seeds
Shipping is 9 USA elsewhere 11
Morir soņando 8 usd
Mango 8 usd
Jumbo Orangey 5 usd (like Orangey sharp bomb flavor but larger size, very few seeds only about 20 available)
My Paypal is raulglezruiz@gmail.com PLEASE INQUIRE BEFORE PAYING due to availability of seeds,

That Luc garcinia variety ‘Morir Sonando’ sounds amazingly divine—Like mother nature’s decadent ice cream placed on a tree, waiting to quench the thirst and revive the taste buds of weary travelers!!

Teach a man to nurture plants, and he will be able to eat durian, soursop, mangosteen, papaya, rambutan, and guava fruits for life!

Thanks all for your orders, want to ask for your patience, my elderly mom is very ill in the hospital since last week, doctor said is few hope and any day this week she probably go to rest, she is three hours driving from my place, I'm staying with her this last days, so probably I'll start shipping orders again late this week and continue on Monday again through the next week when I trust to fulfill all orders thanks for your patience.
Morir soņando are definitely gone, Mango i believe i can get more seeds as there was still fruit on the tree in the jungle but I'll let you know next week when I have to chance to go and pick them, thanks for your patience.
