Unfortunately I have no idea what the cause for your tree might be.  I have two kishus in pots just like that and they mature a ton of fruit.  I have to thin them because they produce so much they end up being even smaller than usual.

Your tree looks really healthy.  But yes, all of those fruits with even slight yellowing are going to drop :(

Ye it is so odd! Just two days ago every fruits was still green and healthy! It got slightly hotter but soil is moist with watering every few days. So frustrating when it was suppose to be the largest harvest year……sigh. Every other citrus of our are doing wonderfully at least.

If it makes you feel better, I have a beautiful healthy mango tree in my greenhouse that sets a ton of fruit every year... and every one drops off before maturity.  I'm on year 6 with zero fruit :(

These things happen, be patient.  I'm sure it will produce at some point

EDIT - here's one of my container Kishus.  Its fruit seems to be maturing in summer for some reason this year.  I think with the greenhouse my trees get way off schedule.

Your Kishu looks amazing Millet! Yes sir...this just make it that more exciting for next year once again lol. At least I can focus only on the health of the tree for this year! I will for sure next year try to incorporate a lot of used eggshells into the soil layer for calcium...I think that's one of the main nutrient it might be missing.

NapAp22,  that Kishu is not my tree, it is Brian tree.  He does a fantastic job with his citrus trees.

My experience with fruit drop is that the fruit was not pollinated. This will result in a fruit that aborts before reaching maturity. If you ever go camping near a black walnut tree in late June you will hear fruits being aborted and crashing to the ground during the calm of the night.

Also, never fertilize your trees after fruit set. Especially with nitrogen. This will cause fruit to fall as well.

I fertilize my Kishus regularly year-round and have plenty of fruit with no fruit drop.
Give them a little chicken poop occasionally as well. Water them daily with municipal water.
I hand pollinate with an artist's brush and encourage the bumble bees to help out.
Possibly some kind of stress or self-preservation action to cause the aborted fruit.

I don't believe kishu or most citrus require any pollination, I think other factors are at play here.

Thanks so much everyone for the reply! Looking back at it, I have come to the conclusion that it might had been my spray of permethrin in dealing with some minor scales infection a week before that might have cause the fruits to all completely drop... I did not water it any differently or apply any type of strong fertilizer with the exceptions of fish emulsion the week before, and the fruits based on their sizing were well pollinated.
